Greg Shainman, Co-Founder FashionFitted said, "Nowhere else can you build your own hat, we like to say build your own swag right."
Shainman believes he and his partner have revolutionized the fitted hat.
Shainman said,"So we’ve basically combined the old school elements of the classic fedora we’ve got the band and the feather aesthetics that’s yesterday right
and I'll use this as an example, the Hip hip influenced hat of today, put them together, you have tomorrow."
The FeatherFitted collection is FashionFitted's solution to a problem.
Shainman said, "The problem is you can’t get into clubs when you wear a basic fitted hat, just doesn’t happen so you can’t rock your Yankees fitted an get into a club.
“So my partner said wait a second how can I wear a hat that has that class that elegance that feeling of a gentleman that I want to be anyway that’s part of my dress code that will allow me into a club without sacrificing the style of today."
Shainman says the next time his partner went to the club he got in. So the duo spent a few years perfecting and patenting FashionFitted's unique process and design.
"So you grab your hat you pick your color band and we go down around the corner to Aldo what does he do? He steam presses the hat this is the way a fitted should look not flimsy and dented but beautiful and round an on point," said Shainman.
From the lining to the feather, Shainman says everything about these hats is truly FashionFitted for each customer.
Shainman said, "we say made to order, tailored to perfection."
FashionFitted hats range from $30 to $125 depending on accents. Shainman and his partner hope to eventually bring the FashionFitted experience all under one roof in Rochester and major metropolitan areas.
Shainman, “LA, Miami, New York you know the major cities where you have people who have an adventurous sense of fashion they want to help set the trends you know what's new, what's next and that's what FashionFitted is."
