A Rochester man is charged with making graffiti on Thruway overpasses that police say was "disparaging" to President Barack Obama.
Oliver Glover III, 54, is charged with criminal mischief, multiple counts of making graffiti, which is a misdemeanor, and other charges.
State Police say Glover repeatedly tagged a bridge on the Thruway between the Batavia and LeRoy exits with spray paint. Investigators say the graffiti appeared on five separate dates, right after the Thruway Authority had cleaned the bridge.
Police say the graffiti was remarks against the President of the United States.
Troopers are looking into information that this act was committed in other locations
between Buffalo and Rochester.
Glover was released on appearance tickets. He'll reappear in Stafford Town Court next Tuesday.
