Meteorologists say there is a flood warning for the Tonawanda Creek.

According to the National Weather Service, the creek is expected to crest its banks by Sunday night. Tonawanda creek runs through Batavia.

Forecasters are watching Genesee, Wyoming and Niagara counties for possible flooding.

Complicating the situation is a slow-moving storm that has been lingering over the mid-Atlantic states and bringing rain to our area.

Genesee County reported a couple of roads closed in the town of Alexander Saturday.
