One in five sudden deaths is caused by a specific genetic progressive heart condition.
An event Friday night aims at telling people about it and hopes to raise money to help fight it.
Michelle Santili-Kullik lost her twin sister, Angela, to arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia.
Michelle and her other sister have ARVD as well.
"It's a disease that is rare and can affect someone without them knowing," Michelle said. "It can make your heart beat fast, 'cause the muscle has been changed from muscle tissue to scar and fatty tissue and that can cause fast rhythm, sudden death, fainting episodes and other things."
TAG 2010, which stands for "Team Angela Gives" is Friday at the South Wedge Colony Bar and Grill from 5 until 9 p.m.
