Motorcyclist Identified in Deadly Hit and Run Crash

Rochester police continue to investigate the cause of a fatal hit and run crash involving a van and a motorcycle Tuesday night. Police said Raymond Stevens, 38, of Rochester, died in the crash.

St. John Fisher Employee Hit by Car

A dining hall worker at St. John Fisher College was seriously injured after she was hit by a car while walking to work Wednesday morning. The Monroe County Sheriff's Department said Michelle Gartland, 38, of Pittsford, was struck by an eastbound vehicle.

Gates Chili Coach Uses AED to Save Student's Life

It has been eight years since New York State started requiring schools to have automated external defibrillators (AED) and at least one staff member trained to use it. Gates Chili Central School District has 12 AEDs on its campus and dozens of staff members, faculty and coaches trained each year to use them, but they have never had to, until this past Friday.
