Chicago-Based Administrators Looking to Open Charter School in Rochester
Administrators from a charter high school in Chicago who want to open a similar school in Rochester will be here on Monday.

Chicago-based Pritzker College Prep aims to give quality education to low-income students.

Administrators are proposing to open the Finger Lakes Charter High School in the Rochester City School District in August of next year. It would start with incoming ninth graders, and expand a grade each year until it reaches grades 9 through 12.

Pritzker administrators plan to submit an application to the SUNY Board of Trustees on April 15th.

Pritzker administrators will be at the Central Library from noon to 2 p.m. on Monday.

They'll be back in Rochester on March 18th at the Central Library to learn more about the needs of Rochester students and answer questions from the public.
