Police recruit class number 54 graduated Friday at MCC.
Sheriff Patrick O'Flynn recognized all 28 candidates for certificates.
The majority of the recruits were from the Monroe County Sheriff's Office road patrol. Members from Batavia, Gates, Greece and Irondequoit were also part of the class.
Remarks were made by County Executive Maggie Brooks. U.S. Attorney William Hochul, Jr. was the keynote speaker for the ceremony.
Since its' start in 1975, the Public Safety Training Facility of MCC has conducted 78 police recruit training academies.
